
The Taphouse is made from recycled wood panels and steel decoration, with planting throughout, and industrial-style lighting. The bar brings great beer and great tunes to the heart of the festival. Moving on, if we zig-zag back through the market area towards the Left Field, we will find The Taphouse, another bar that was brand new for 2019. For the 2019 festival, the Cockmill boasted a selection of twelve ales, including three local Somerset brews. A large real ale bar, with a warm and cosy atmosphere, The Cockmill is a rustic, traditional bar, filled with cosy snugs.Ĭhoose from a large section of ales, and settle down into one of the wooden booths inside the tent, or amble outside for a panoramic view of the site. Next, venture a little further through the market area of the festival, past the giant tower at William’s Green, and turn left into the Acoustic Field to find our next stop - The Cockmill bar. The Cockmill bar at Glastonbury Festival is a large real ale bar, with a warm and cosy atmosphere It serves a range of world craft and European beers including brews from Brooklyn New York and London Fields. You can't miss it, as two giant elephants stand guard, while refreshing craft beer and DJs await those who venture inside. This bar was brand new in 2019 and proved a popular addition among revellers. Next stop is the eye-catching Elephant bar, which is located among the market stalls not far from the Cider Bus. You can hear, and just about see, the Pyramid Stage from the bar, so grab yourself a pint of traditional Somerset scrumpy, or a warm mulled cider, and enjoy the busy and bustling surroundings of this festival landmark. Having sold apple-based wares from the Burrow Hill orchards at the festival since 1970, the bus has become a firm favourite among festival-goers.
